A very fine cased pair of English percussion man stopper belt pistols, about 1840; 17 mm calibre, each browned octagonal barrels marked Blake & Co London (Blake & Co worked at 253 Wapping London, 1836-1854); each vivid colour case hardened breech, bolted box lock action; dolphin side hammers engraved with scroll and foliage; engraved charcoal blue trigger guards; sliding safeties; fire blued belt hooks; finely chequered walnut grips each having engraved colour case hardened butt caps with hinged trap cover; stirrup rammers each; London proof marks; in fitted original mahogany case with some accessories.

Condition: Superb pistols in nearly original factory new condition, bullet mould with some pitting, good case (split in the lid).
