An excellent cased Tranter pocket single action revolver; .22 RF calibre, made about 1870; blued barrel marked TRANTERâ??S PATENT, seven shot case-hardened cylinder; Birmingham proof marks; gold plated and engraved brass frame, blued hammer and loading gate; fitted in a case lined in blue felt with cleaning rod and screwdriver; very rare original instruction sheet.

It is an excellent revolver, 60-70 % of the original gold plated, 60-70 % original case hardening, 95% of the original blueing. A tiny hair crack in the frame.
